If my department is interested in a posted item, who is responsible for the TRANSFER of the item?
- When a donor is contacted by an interested recipient, the pickup time and date needs to be arranged between both parties. How the item is moved from one location to the other is the responsibility of the recipient. However, if the donor desires to assist in the moving of the item(s) they can do so.
Who is responsible for removing the item from the ReUse site once a confirmed interested department has requested the item?
- When the item has been requested, the donor needs to remove it from the queue so users don’t continue contacting them about the item. The donor can click on the Cancel Posting button, making the item inactive, and can input the recipient’s name and address. This will remove the item from the list.
